Built around your child. Not a curriculum.
The same one-student-at-a-time approach families know from Avalon School of Music, now for Math and Reading.
Book a Free DiagnosticOne student at a time, one plan at a time
Most tutoring centers have one program, and every student moves through it. At Avalon, a free diagnostic shows us exactly where your child is, and then we choose the tools that fit how your child learns. If a screen isn't working, or your child needs a break from one, we put it away and teach another way.

Real teachers in every tutoring session
Every Math and Reading instructor at Avalon is a certified teacher (current, previously certified, or retired). We pay our teachers well, because experienced, professional educators are what make the difference for your child.
IXL is our foundation, not our limit
Every plan starts with IXL. When your child needs something different, our teachers pivot.
IXL
Adaptive practice aimed at the exact skills from the diagnostic.
Education.com
Worksheets, lessons, and games that offer another way in.
Hands-on manipulatives
Math tools that make abstract ideas visible.
Books and paper
Real books and pencil work for time away from screens.
